Four kilometres of powder-white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and a reef teeming with marine life — Boracay earns its reputation as one of Asia's finest beach destinations.
Boracay has no cruise pier — ships anchor offshore and passengers complete a two-leg journey to the island.
💡 Pro move: The two-leg transfer (tender + bangka) means getting ashore takes 45–60 minutes each way. Plan for an honest 7-hour call to make the most of the beach.
No dedicated cruise pier exists; all vessels use the Caticlan–Cagban tender/ferry route.
| Cruise Line | Typical Berth / Arrival | Dock or Tender |
|---|---|---|
| Most cruise lines | Anchor off Caticlan — tenders to Caticlan Jetty Port, then bangka to Cagban Port📍 | Tendered |
| Small expedition ships | May anchor closer to Boracay's south shore; tender direct to Cagban📍 | Tendered |
Whether you want to sink your toes into White Beach, hop to a private cove, or try helmet diving, Boracay delivers effortless tropical fun.
Walk or e-trike along the 4-km White Beach from Station 3's quiet south end to the luxurious Station 1. Grab a lounger, swim in calm turquoise water, and dine on fresh seafood at a beachfront restaurant. D'Mall at Station 2 has ATMs, souvenir shops, and dozens of restaurants.
Find White Beach lounger deals →A classic Boracay boat tour typically visits Crystal Cove Island (sea caves, snorkelling, cliff views), Puka Beach on the island's north tip (crushed-shell sand, far fewer crowds), and a snorkel stop at a reef. Crystal Cove charges a ≈300 PHP entrance fee.
Find island hopping tours →A paraw is the traditional Filipino double-outrigger sailboat. Sunset sails depart from White Beach and last about an hour, gliding along the shoreline as the sky turns gold and pink behind the island's palm trees. One of Boracay's most photographed experiences.
Find paraw sailing tours →No scuba certification needed — helmet diving lets you walk on the seabed at 4–5 metres depth while breathing normally through an air-fed helmet. Coral reefs and tropical fish surround you. Stations are set up directly off White Beach, making it one of the easiest underwater experiences in Asia.
Find helmet diving experiences →Puka Beach (Yapak Beach) on Boracay's northern tip is wilder and less developed than White Beach. The sand is mixed with crushed puka shells, the water gets deep quickly, and food stalls near the entrance keep it casual. A refreshing contrast to the busier south.
Find north Boracay tours →Boracay's open-air commercial hub sits between Station 1 and 2. Browse local crafts, pearls, and beachwear, then eat your way through the food stalls — try fresh grilled squid, halo-halo (shaved ice dessert), and buko juice straight from the coconut.
Find Boracay food tours →White Beach is Boracay's great walkway — flat, scenic, and lined with life the full 4 km.
Start at the southern end of White Beach (Station 3, quiet and budget) — a short e-trike from Cagban Port — and walk north along the beach path past D'Mall at Station 2 (restaurants, shops, paraw boats), to Station 1's wide, calm shoreline and Willy's Rock sea formation. The entire beach is flat and paved behind the sand for most of its length.
Short beach stroll from the main shopping hub at D'Mall north to Willy's Rock, a coral-encrusted outcrop topped with a small Our Lady shrine that becomes accessible at low tide. A pleasant compact walk that covers White Beach's most photogenic stretch.
